Suburban Odyssey

A 64 page catalogue which faithfully reproduces works from an exhibtion at the Fremantle Arts Centre in Western Australia, focusing on my work as a painter of suburban landscapes, something I was doing long before I began illustrating books. Curated by Dr Ric Spencer, the works in this show represent a twenty year period, and examines the links between my local environment and later surrealistic stories, particularly The Lost Thing and Tales from Outer Suburbia (where my inspirations are quite obvious).
